BellRinger is a text messaging service operated by Abide Labs LLC ("we," "our," or "us") on behalf of participating automotive dealerships. This SMS Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with our text messaging program. It supplements the general Abide Labs Privacy Policy.
The Messaging Program
When you contact a participating dealership — by calling its published phone number or submitting an online inquiry — the dealership may respond to you by text message to answer your questions about vehicles, hours, pricing, and availability, and to help you schedule a visit. Messages are conversational and are sent in response to contact you initiated.
Information We Collect
- Your mobile phone number, so the dealership can reply to you by text.
- The content of your messages with the dealership, used to respond to and assist with your inquiry.
- Basic delivery information (such as timestamps and delivery status) used to operate the service.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to respond to your inquiry, carry on the text conversation you started, and operate and improve the messaging service. We do not use your information for unrelated marketing.
We Do Not Share Your Mobile Information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or text-message opt-in data with any third party for their own marketing. Information is shared only with the participating dealership you contacted and with service providers (such as our messaging carrier) strictly as needed to deliver the messages you requested.
Message Frequency, Rates, and Help

- Reply HELP at any time for help, or contact us using the details below.
- Reply STOP at any time to opt out and stop receiving text messages.
Opting Out
You can opt out of the text messaging program at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you reply STOP, you will receive one confirmation message and will not receive further texts unless you opt back in by replying START.
Data Retention
We retain message content and contact details only as long as needed to handle your inquiry and operate the service, or as required by law, after which the information is deleted or de-identified.
Children's Privacy
This service is intended for users 18 and older and is not directed to children.
